We get the best results with 50+ strands of hair. That sounds like a lot, but we naturally shed 100-150 hairs per day. 50+ strands will allow us to get the most accurate results possible for your test and should be easy to collect with the Untangled comb in your kit!

Yes! The Untangled Kit includes a detailed instruction booklet as well as a comb to help collect your hair, but using your own brush is fine as well. Whatever you do—don’t pull out your hair!

Expect results in your email 3-4 weeks after dropping your sample in the mail.

We do not perform DNA testing on any of hair samples. Our tests are limited to microscopic, chemical, and strength analysis of your hair.
